7.08am Train to the City

A Feeble effort to do something productive during the train ride to the City and back. I got approximately unproductive 80 mins during weekdays while I travel to work. I will use this time to maintain this blog.

Sunny day, it is.  I welcome this weather but it’s not going to last for long.  My walk to the station has become refreshing to my body and my mind. Its been while I did something to burn some calories which has been accumulating in my body last year due to my wonderful wife’s cooking. Sadly I need to let them go to maintain my ever loosing battle with my weight.

Well I was thinking about my work while I was walking, I was working in Sri Lanka mostly firefighting to save projects that has gone bust due to poor planning and engineering practice. But now my new job has taken me to a different area.  Even though I am still in the same technology my work is mainly making sure good planning and good engineering practises are maintained in projects and life cycle activity. However now I miss the excitement of fire fighting and running around, but I do not complain, I love my new job less excitement but new technology and the company has more capacity($1 billion in Engineering budget) than the previous company.
